As you arrive at Split Airport or to the city of Split for your long awaited vacation, it could be a while until you reach your final destination, especially if it is located on one of the islands near Split. Even though there are ferries and catamarans departing daily from the port of Split, you could still get stuck in the port waiting for the next departure due to the great demand in the peak season.
